The rotation exercice 2010 is launched in preparation of EEAS

15.11. DG PERSONNEL AND ADMINISTRATION / DG EXTERNAL RELATIONS – LAUNCH OF THE ROTATION OF HEADS OF DELEGATION FOR 2010
The Commission took note of the information set out under point 11 of PERS(2009)127/4 and, on a proposal from Mr KALLAS, in agreement with the PRESIDENT and Ms FERRERO-WALDNER, decided:
? to endorse the principles of recruitment or transfer of the members of staff concerned, as identified in the second bullet point of paragraph 11 of PERS(2009)127/4;
? to take note that transfers and publications concerning middle management would follow the usual procedures;
? to authorise the PRESIDENT, Mr KALLAS and Ms FERRERO-WALDNER to identify all senior management posts that would be filled either by transfer in the interest of the service under Article 7 of the Staff Regulations or following internal and interinstitutional publication of the vacancy notice in accordance with Article 29(1)(a)(i) and (iii) and Article 29(1)(b) of the Staff Regulations, with a parallel call for expressions of interest;
? to authorise the PRESIDENT, Mr KALLAS and Ms FERRERO-WALDNER to finalise the vacancy notices for all the posts involved in the 2010 rotation of Heads of Delegation, and to decide the composition of the selection boards.

These decisions would take effect immediately.
