The AST / SC colleagues, as well as the new recruits, did not receive effective support. As this is a new category introduced by the 2014 reform, their integration in the services has not always been easy.
As a result, these colleagues often face challenges regarding the true nature of their assignments and ask questions about their future career prospects.
R&D requests:
- starting in the financial year 2019, to provide opportunities for structural promotion also for these colleagues;
- to ensure a real career development;
- to put in place procedures allowing ultimately access to the AST category.
