APPEAL AGAINST NON PROPOSAL FOR PROMOTION /
RECLASSIFICATION BY YOUR DG
On Tuesday 18 June, DGs will publish the proposals for promotion in Sysper: they will be followed on Tuesday 25 June by the proposals for reclassification. From the day of publication, you have 5 working days to introduce an appeal if you think you were unjustly not proposed for promotion / reclassification by your DG this year, although you fulfil all the criteria with regard to
– seniority in the grade
– merits as reflected in your evaluation report
– responsibilities
– languages used in the service
Although every situation is different, R&D has listed some of the most typical situations that might give you reason to file an appeal with the Promotion / Reclassification Committee.
R&D wants to remind you that DGs have not received quota for AST /SC colleagues: quota will be allocated only to the Promotion Committee. You have to launch an appeal if you belong to this function group !
